Thanks to those of you who have purchased individual patterns from my website this year. I always enjoy chatting with you about your plans for knitting my designs and hope we can continue the ongoing conversations. Knitting Matters has recently converted to a wholesale-only pattern company, which means that you will be able to get my patterns at retail stores but no longer at my site.
I know that this will limit availability temporarily while I get more shops to carry my patterns, but remember that you can always call one of the shops listed on my Shops page and ask them to send you the pattern you want. And I'm hoping to get at least one online retailer to carry them as well, for those of you whose local shops haven't yet stocked Knitting Matters patterns. (If you want to suggest that your local yarn store carry KM patterns, click here for an easy way to do that.) |

Next month will see the release of Radiance, a vest that makes wonderful use of handpainted yarns. It's particularly striking in yarns with longer color changes. My model is being made in Trendsetter Tonalita, but it would also be wonderful in Noro Silk Garden or other similar yarns.
Look for it in the gallery in January. |
| Welcome the newest KM retailers! |
| I'm pleased to add 2 new shops to the list of places you can buy Knitting Matters patterns. Welcome Korner Knitters of Standish, Maine, and Webs of Northampton, MA. If you live near either of them, make sure to stop in and take a look at the full pattern line. |

 I've been
accepted into membership in the Association of Knitwear Designers and now have a certificate stating that I am a "Professional Designer". This is a juried membership, so it has real meaning to me. I hope it also conveys to you, my valued customers, that I'm dedicated to producing high-quality patterns for your knitting pleasure.
