Pattern Corrections

Although my publishing team is as thorough as possible in the pattern writing and editing stages, some errors manage to slip past us and end up in the final printed versions. When an error is discovered it's posted here with the date of the revision. Check the bottom of the first page of your pattern -- if it has the revision date listed here (or no revision date at all), you already have the current version. If not, please find your pattern corrections in the list below. And I hope you'll let me know if you discover an error in one of my patterns that isn't already listed here. Patterns are listed in alphabetical order.

Bias Baby Cardigan Bias Baby Cardigan #0707 -- The following error occurred in the patterns sold prior to 10/29/07:

At the beginning of the instructions for the Right Front and Left Front pieces, the third row should read: "Next row (RS): K1, bar inc twice, K1" (The incorrect instructions read: "Next row (RS): K1, M1, K1, M1, K1)"

BFA Vest Breath of Fresh Air Vest #0702 -- Some people nearly ran out of yarn so I have adjusted the yardage requirements as of 11/18/2008.
Yarn needed: 510 (600, 660, 720, 800) yds.
Finished Chest Sizes: 33.75 (37, 42.5, 45.75, 49.75)”.

Circle of Life Circle of Life #0802 -- The neck circumference was a bit tight, so I have adjusted the pattern to enlarge the neck. A revised version of the pattern was issued on 2/20/2009. The revision was to the last decrease round before the collar, which should now read as follows:

4th dec round: K3 (3, 4, 2, 6, 5) *(K2tog, K1), repeat from * 20 (29, 33, 37, 35, 39) more times, K0 (3, 0, 0, 6, 5). St count: 66 (66, 72, 78, 84, 90).

COLLAR: Change to smaller needles and *K3, P3, repeat from * around for 6 rounds.

D-Rib Scarf D-Rib Scarf #0705 -- On versions of this pattern sold before 8-11-2009, errors occurred in 2 rows of the text instructions for the chart. (The chart itself is correct.) The correct instructions are as follows:
Row 3: k3, yo, k2tog, *(p2, k2), rep from * to last 7 sts, p2, ssk, yo, k3.
Row 5: k5, p1, *(p2, k2), rep from * to last 6 sts, p1, k5.

Kiyo Kiyo #0804 -- There was a misplaced paragraph in the sleeve increase section. It has been corrected as of 1/26/2009.

Luffle Scarf Luffle Scarf #0803 -- Error in written instructions for two-row chart pattern fixed on 8-21-2010. There were no errors in the chart itself.

Odyssey Odyssey Jumper #0704 -- The original pattern published in 2007 had errors in the decreases between the bottom lace detail and the ribbed waistline. A revised pattern was issued in March 2009. The correct instructions for this section are as follows:
Continue working in Stockinette St. On the next round, place decrease markers as follows: *(K 33 (36, 39, 42, 45) sts, PM)* 5 times, K last 33 (36, 39, 42, 45) sts. Including the end of round marker placed in the first round, you now have 6 decrease markers.

Continue working in Stockinette St, repeating the following decrease round every 6 rounds 9 times:
Decrease round: *(K2tog, work to next marker, SM), repeat from *. (6 sts decreased each round)

St count: 144 (162, 180, 198, 216)

Continue even until the length of the piece measures 12.5 (12.5, 13, 14, 14.25)” from the cast on edge.

For size 36”, work the following adjustment round as last round before beginning waist ribbing: K2tog, work to 3rd marker, K2tog, work to end.

For size 44” only, work the following adjustment round as last round before beginning waist ribbing: M1, work to 3rd marker, SM, M1, work to end.

St count: 144 (160, 180, 200, 216)

Rose Baby Cardigan Rose Baby Cardigan #0706 -- The following error occurred in versions of this pattern sold prior to 1/20/2008:

The definition of SSP should read as follows: "With yarn in front, slip a st knitwise, slip another st knitwise, slip both sts back to the left needle, then purl into the backs of these 2 sts together."

Vertigo VestVertigo Vest #0904 -- On versions of this pattern sold prior to 8-12-2009, the instructions for the right front neckline and armhole shaping contained errors, and there was an adjustment made to the left front numbers as well. The corrections are marked in red below.
LEFT FRONT:
Place 77 (84, 91, 98, 105, 112, 119) front sts from holder on larger ndl. Join CC yarn and beg on RS row: BO 4 (4, 4, 5, 5, 7, 8) sts, knit 31 (35, 38, 41, 44, 46, 48) K2tog, K1. Place remaining......[everything from this point to the Neckline shaping is correct in the original]
Neckline: AT THE SAME TIME, using K2tog and working decs on RS rows, dec 1 st at end of every 2nd row 7 (8, 9, 11, 9, 10, 12) times, then every 4th row 6 (6, 6, 5, 7, 7, 6) times.
[The remainder of the left front is correct in the original]

RIGHT FRONT:
[DELETE THIS ROW just prior to the neckline and armhole shaping sections: Next RS: K1, K2tog, K to end of row.]
The following neckline and armhole decs are worked AT THE SAME TIME, so read ahead before working further.
Neckline: Using SSK and working decs on RS rows, dec 1 st at beg of every 2nd row 7 (8, 9, 11, 9, 10, 12) more times, then every 4th row 6 (6, 6, 5, 7, 7, 6) times.
Armhole: AT THE SAME TIME, BO 3 (3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4) sts at beg of next row. Then, using K2tog, dec 1 st at end of next 4 (7, 7, 8, 9, 9, 9) RS rows. Remember to do all decs one st in from the edge.
