 Seedling Cardi (FlexPattern #0905) -- A simple stitch pattern using seed stitch and slipped stitches, along with drop shoulder construction, makes for a quick and rewarding project. The shawl collar can be worn as shown or unfolded for extra neck coverage when needed. You don't have to worry about a child outgrowing this one before it's done!Sizes: 6 (12, 18, 24) months. Yarn Requirements:260-385 yards (237-350 meters) of worsted weight yarn. This one is made in Shepherd's Wool from Stonehedge Fiber Mill, an amazingly soft wool made right here in Michigan.

The seed stitch sleeves are edged in a few rows of garter stitch.  Alternating boy and girl buttons make it a unisex garment regardless of which side the buttons are on.
